Today is catch-up day!
Yes, that was an unplanned absence - when the doc says that gall bladder is coming out at dawn, it causes you to pay attention and follow directions :/ Doing much better now.
And I finally got the good camera out to photo the live painting paintings from The Pearson Celebrate The Arts. Wow. What an event!! So pleased that I got to be a part of it!!
So 'live painting paintings', yes, a curious phrase. It means I was the artist who got to set up an easel and paint the event as it was happening! And, I got to do it twice!!
1st, at the social hour in the Weaver Lobby Gallery, packed with people, and very few of them standing still. But I am pleased with the results -

2nd, was at dinner in the Pomerantz Hall. It was simply beautiful - every detail thought of. And I got to paint in the midst of so many wonderful people. I am one lucky artist, for sure.
