Heckuva Good Time
by Cooper on 7/7/2009 6:51:07 PM

Greetings,

Welcome to the Cooper studio, where today we overcame real estate angst and had a heckuva good time painting.

The subject matter was particularly appropriate for a heckuva good time.  I do believe I mentioned spending a delightful weekend+ at the Omaha Summer Arts Festival recently.  I have been know to say that I am a people watcher/painter, and that anyone on the sidewalk is fair game.  Believe it or not, that made the 5pm news on Omaha's Channel 6.  Ha!  Dubious fame.  At any rate, camera in hand, I took advantage of the many photo opportunities Omaha provided.

The Omaha Summer Arts Festival stretches along a section of Farnam Street in downtown Omaha, Nebraska.  There would appear to be a number of happy art afficiondos who will make it onto a canvas, and this couple I spied walking down Farnam would be the first.  With no further ado, I give you "Walking Down Farnam"

Walking Down Farnam, acrylic painting on canvas, measuring that perfect 12 x 12 inches.  Is it available in my portfolio?  No.  The good camera went on adventure to Colorado and won't be home for a little while longer.  Hey, I'm learning to muster up more patience, so can you :)  But it shouldn't be too long a wait.

Later, Cooper
