Greetings!  2008 has been a great year for painting.  So much has been published this year about the resurgence of painting the figure in art.  It makes me feel like I am right on target, and that's a great feeling!  I have a new motto:  If a painting is just clever or pretty, then that's not enough---it's GOT to be interesting!  We are all interested in the people around us, so what better way to achieve interesting paintings than to fill them with all those interesting people, with all their unique postures and attitudes?  I paint from the live model, photo references and combinations thereof.  Browse through my portfolio, and enjoy!
